The 8,800 square foot powerhouse was constructed adjacent to the main hospital with 1000kW standby generation for the powerhouse and hospital back-up.
The mechanical systems include:
- Two 200 HP “Ohio Special” natural gas boilers with #2 fuel oil back-up and provisions for two additional 200 HP boilers.
- Three 230-ton rotary screw chillers with remote air cooled condensers and space for one additional chiller.
- Five chilled water pumps: three chiller pumps, two variable speed primary system pumps, and one designated as a standby pump.
The new 250,000 square foot air conditioned manufacturing plant included 180,000 square feet of manufacturing space; 40,000 square feet of shipping and receiving; 12,000 square feet building facilities; and 18,000 square feet of quality, maintenance, and general offices.
Manufacturing utilities included 10MVA substation and power distribution; three 300 ton chillers; three 150HP air compressors; nitrogen piping system; industrial water piping; R.O water; and process water piping.
This 92,000 square foot new manufacturing facility with 25,000 square feet of office space is located in rural southern Ohio.
The facility is heated and cooled via 2 125-ton gas fired air rotation units with direct expansion cooling designed by JDRM Engineering.
Electrical design included 277/480V 3-phase 4-wire 2000AMP service; standard industrial 400-watt metal halide low bay lighting; and 277/480V 3-phase and 120/208V 3-phase bus ducts.
