Heartfelt thanks to Steve Morris — the “M” in JDRM — who stepped down from leadership and ownership roles at the end of 2016. Steve mentored the successive management team and worked with JDRM to complete ongoing projects into mid-2019.
Darren is the Principal-in-Charge of the electrical engineering and technology departments at JDRM Engineering. He is often sought out for his expertise by both clients who know the tremendous value he brings as well as staff members who wish to explore ideas and concepts for projects. Darren oversees all professional liability and legal matters for JDRM in addition to his work in commercial, religious, K-12 and higher education, and power distribution project work.
Dave manages both the electrical department and the Arc Flash department at JDRM, coordinating staffing and human resources for these groups and the administrative staff as well. An engineer since 1995, Dave’s project focus is mainly in the health care, institutional, and higher education sectors.
The “J” in JDRM, Larry was at the helm when the firm was formed and was a strong proponent of an ownership evolution process. He was the first person to step aside from an ownership role in the firm in 2010, making way for the next generation of leadership. His active involvement in the firm is greatly appreciated. You’ll find Larry involved in design work, project management, mentorship of young engineers, and many aspects of the electrical design division.
Like many, Chris has been with the firm since his college days and has developed into a strong electrical engineer. His recent past has involved many school designs so he is one of our go-to-guys in that field.
Andy is a dynamic electrical designer with a keen ability to envision solutions and ask the right questions to ensure success. His expertise is welcomed and sought out on medical projects and has expanded through educational/institutional work into industrial projects as well. He is the project lead on our largest project to date, the 1 million square-foot First Solar Module Manufacturing Facility. Andy’s insights are greatly appreciated by our clients who truly value him as a team member who helps achieve their goals. In January 2019, Andy moved from Associate status to become a Partner in JDRM Engineering.
