The 205,000 square foot renovation and expansion of the former Field House for the College of Health & Human Services includes: distance learning capabilities; double classrooms; recreation areas; computer and art labs; teaching kitchens; and facility offices.

Electrical engineering design included exterior/interior lighting fixtures, electrical distribution, telecommunications, fire alarm, and security systems.

Mechanical systems feature an air handling system including seventeen units ranging in size from two thousand CFM to eighteen thousand CFM.  The tower water system serving the chillers is designed for either cell of the tower to serve either chiller, allowing flexibility in operation.  Variable flow chilled water systems through the chillers eliminates the need for pumps on each chiller.
