Penta Career Center Solar Array

October 19, 2020

JDRM provided the engineering services for a new solar array which spans six acres on the south side of the Penta campus. Working closely with GEM Energy on this design/build project also included extensive coordination with First Solar, a long-term JDRM Engineering client. First Solar manufactured the solar panels which are installed in a fixed-tilt, ground-mount array, and provided about 3,100 Series 6 panels — their newest generation solar panels. Penta students will benefit through remote monitoring activities designed for their classrooms.
